Help Carpinteria collectively support those less fortunate than us by using our theme, “Pajama-Rama Bedtime Stories from Eli Bear” to benefit Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation as well as Forrest Holt via book sales, love offerings from attendees, silent auction items.

Who: Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation and Hal Price, author of “The Adventures of Eli Benjamin Bear: A Heart’s Journey Home”

What:  Pajama party and fund raiser for cancer victims. Stories. Prizes for oldest teddy bear., Silent auction. Announce launch of Price’s new book, “The Adventures of Eli Benjamin Bear in A Heart’s Journey Home  which shows children and their parents how to cope with life’s challenges while learning to listen to the wisdom of their hearts.

When:     September 9, 2018 (Sunday) from 3-5:30 p.m. Pacific Time

Where:  Alcazar Theatre, 4916 Carpinteria Ave, Carpinteria, CA 93013

Why: Raise money for the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation and the Reynolds family on National Teddy Bear Day and National Grandparents Day.

Special visual elements: Interviews with Forrest Holt, who is a  5 year old cancer survivor, and his mother Tonia Reynolds. Oldest teddy bear contest. Storytelling. Kids and parents in pajamas.

Free admission to the public although donations to the fund raising is suggested but not required.
