Support the Alcazar

In the midst of what can only be called surreal times, we hope you’re staying safe and well.

When we started to prepare our fundraising campaign, we never imagined that we’d be in the middle of a global pandemic. Like you, we thought we’d be in the middle of our usual activities. We were looking forward to our Anniversary Gala, full houses for first run movies, theatre productions, and several epic concerts.

But life threw us a major curve ball! Our theater had to shut down early on in the pandemic and we will be among the last to recover. Over the last few months, we have implemented a new program entitled Alcazar Live 805, which provides online informational community programming and entertainment, but have earned virtually no revenue while our operating expenses continue to remain each month.

When we can reopen, the road to recovery will be long because of the nature of theaters as public gathering places.

We need your help to Save the Alcazar. We have several ways that you can help:

  • Seat Naming - Save the theater one seat at a time by purchasing a seat sponsorship

  • Marquee Messages - Rent one or both sides of the theater marquee to display a special message

  • Promise Pass - Buy the promise of a performance in the form of a Promise Pass, which can be traded in for a ticket at any time in the future
  • Alcazar Merchandise - Limited edition face masks, t-shirts and other merchandise will be available for purchase soon on our website
  • Sustaining Sponsorship - Become a sustaining sponsor with a monthly donation to the Alcazar. Sustaining sponsors will receive the following:
                      Mention on the Alcazar website
Mention on all ouir social media platforms
                       Mention in our bi-weekly newsletter

Please consider making a donation to the Alcazar Theatre. As a registered non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, your donation is tax deductible under the limits of the law.

Best Regards,
The Alcazar Theatre Board of Directors
