The Alcazar Ensemble is excited to announce that the beloved holiday classic "Miracle on 34th Street" is returning for the third year! The story revolves around Macy's department store, Santa Claus, and a little girl who believes in him. Kris, who claims to be the real Santa Claus, quickly becomes a favorite and starts working as a regular Santa at the company's flagship store in midtown Manhattan. However, things take an unexpected turn when Kris's authenticity is questioned, leading to a court case to determine his mental health and prove his genuineness as Santa Claus.

The upcoming "Miracle on 34th Street" production features a multi-talented cast of more than 30 Santa Barbara and Ventura County residents. Among them is Van Riker, an experienced stage performer who has been cast in the lead role of Kris Kringle's beloved character. His performance is expected to captivate the audience with its depth and nuance. Lee McHugh will be playing the charming and endearing character of Susan Walker, who will win the audience's hearts. We are also excited to welcome Jillian Bavar, from Santa Barbara, who will be making her stage debut as Doris Walker at the Alcazar Theatre.

Story by Valentine Davies. Directed and adapted by Asa Olsson, "The opportunity to once again bring this production to our community, performed by actors our counties, is exhilarating and a work of love for all involved."The heartwarming tale is a must-see for all ages during the holiday season.
