SUMMER DRAMA CAMP RETURNS TO THE ALCAZAR THEATRE

Enrollment is now open for The Alcazar Theatre Summer Drama Camp 2024, located at 4916 Carpinteria Ave. Carpinteria, CA 93001

The camp is a two-week session beginning June 24 through July 5, 2024. Classes run Monday through Friday at 3 PM – 6 PM (closed July 4th ), and culminate in a full-fledged performance on Friday the 5th at 6:30 PM. Tuition for the camp is $305 for the two weeks. The deadline for enrollment is June 17th.

Under the direction of Creative Director, Asa Olsson, campers will gain hands-on experience in acting, character building, and improv. They will also learn set, light, and costume design. The camp is designed for students grades 4th through 12th.

High school students, that do not signiup for the camp may earn community service hours working as co-coaches. A limited number of scholarships are available.
